2014 Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid Specs and Price

First introduced in 2009, the new version 2014 Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid was released on September 2013. This five-door hatchback is updated with improvements on exterior, interior and other features such as chassis, rear windows, nose, tailgate and so on. It is claimed to best electric car with high fuel economy and low emissions.

Specifications

By featuring high technology on plug-in V hybrid engine, combination of a V8 gasoline engine and two electric motors with 9.4-kWh lithium-ion battery pack, it can run on 11-22 miles with power from electrical output. This car delivers power of 416 hp where the electric motors produce 95 hp.

The top speed is 84 mph in electric mode and 167 mph by using gas engine. It can take 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. In UK, this new car has gained approval from OLEV (Office for Low Emission Vehicles). The fuel consumption technology adopts TBA Highway concepts. The drive-train uses 8-speed transmission Tiptronic S on rear wheel drive.

Price

The pricing is officially confirmed, starting at $99,000 in US market whereas you get $4,750 federal credit, more expensive than 2014 Porsche Cayenne.

Porsche announced that 2014 Cayenne Platinum Edition will be launched with significant changes on its specs including unique exterior designs and features. It offer two engine choices: diesel and gasoline. This new car is redesigned with new technology concepts to fulfill customer demands for best SUV with more performance, comfort and safety than previous edition. The release date is confirmed on February 2014 on European and US markets.

Specifications

It embodies 3.6 L V-6 Engine that can deliver power of 300 hp and torque of 295 lbft. The top speed is improved to reach 60 mph in 7.4 seconds. It seems to be fast SUV in today market. The interior concepts are redesigned based on 911 and the Panamera, in my opinion. All features and buttons in this five-passenger car’s cabin are placed into ergonomic place including touch-screen navigation and entertainment features. It is more versatile.

There is no officially confirmation of MSRP price of this new car. It is convinced to start at $64,295 for gasoline engine and $67,895 for diesel, more expensive than Chevy Tahoe. The price depends on location.

2015 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Is Revealed With More Power

After having public road testing, the new prototype 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS will be released on next year, 2014. This sports car will be redesigned sportier and more power compared to previous S models. The aerodynamics, facelift and all unique features on interior and exterior are improved to offer what buyers need for stylish car with high top speed, stability and comfortable grip.

It is expected this car will generate higher power output, 420 hp with 7-speed manual transmission. The significant looks will be seen on front bumper and rear spoiler along with stiffer suspension and special badging in cabin. There are many spy photos on Internet that show this prototype has new design on facelift.

2015 Porsche Macan Release Date, Specs and Price

After unveiled at 2013 LA auto show, 2015 Porsche Macan made debut on public and the release date will be on April 2014. For first time closer look, this all new crossover SUV seems to have similar dimension to Audi Q5. Truly it is different which will be reengineered with 75% improvement compared to previous version, lighter weight with new aluminum body panels.

The engine will come with seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and two twin-turbocharged choices which will deliver about 340 to 400 hp and 339 lbft to 406 lbft depending on the trim. The engines are 3.0 L and 3.6 L with different torque and power output that use direct injection technology for better fuel economy. Porsche offers two models: The Macan S and Turbo with different rear wheels, adaptive suspension and height levels.

After unveiled at 2013 International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder Hybrid with Weissach package is reengineered with improvements on high specs, top speed, aerodynamics and other changes. This sports car is convinced to be tough rival to Ferrari 458 Speciale.

This hybrid model embodies longitudinally 4.6-liter V8 engine powertrain and electric motors (on front angle and rear) to deliver power of 887 hp, lower than LaFerrari that delivers up to 949 hp and McLaren P1. The power from engine is 608 hp at 8600rpm and torque is 290 lbft at 6600 rpm. Meanwhile, the electric motors produce 286 hp. But it is cheaper than its rivals. The top speed is awesome which it can take 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds and 0-124 mph in 7.23 seconds. This automaker claims that it is faster than Bugatti Veyron.

The electric motors can produce enough power to take 60 mph in 6.2 seconds. You just select E-drive and press the throttle.
